Preokretom koji se retko viđa, Jelena Janković je uspela da savlada 63. igračicu sveta Sofiju Arvidson rezultatom 2:1(6:7, 6:2, 7:6) za dva i po časa na otvaranju Mastersa u Majamiju i plasira se u treće kolo. I pored toga što je više nego očigledno da se u meču odigravala prava drama, rezultat ipak ne očarava ono što se zaista dogodilo: Jankovićeva je uspela da se vrati u igru posle 1:5 u trećem setu, pri tom spase čak pet meč-lopti veđanke!
